Economic growth to reduce African poverty levels by 5% in 2015

Africa's economy is beginning to stir. Our research shows anticipated growth levels could reduce African poverty levels from 52% to 47% by 2015.

However, we also find that population growth will more than offset this improvement and place an additional 36 million Africans in poverty by 2015.
